Olubiyi Akinnaanu is a corporate finance and investment professional with over 10 years of experience across debt and equity capital raising from private equity, venture capital, and impact investors in emerging markets. He has deep expertise in deal structuring, capital raising, due diligence, negotiations and portfolio management, with a focus on climate and infrastructure investments.


He currently serves as Senior Advisor, Corporate Finance at WATT Renewables, a climate infrastructure developer focused on sub-Saharan Africa. Previously, he was Vice President of Corporate Finance at Rensource Energy, where he was instrumental to over $70 million in equity and debt capital raises across multiple rounds. He was a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers, executing over $2 billion in M&A, capital raise, and financial advisory mandates. He started out his career with First Ally Capital as an Investment Banking Analyst focused on public capital markets.


A Chartered Accountant and Advanced Financial Modeller, Olubiyi is passionate about education and leads fundraising for a STEM-focused university in Africa.
