She is passionate about helping individuals find joy and fulfillment. Lori helps individuals get past roadblocks and find fulfillment in their careers and their life. She teaches them that they have a choice in the direction of their life and it is never too late to make a change. Love and caring are the cornerstones of Lori’s business.


As a speaker, Lori shares her story of how she was able to reinvent herself after a horrendous firing, by tapping into her belief that we can’t control what happens to us but we have a choice in what we do with it. She believes that we are all exactly where we are meant to be. Leaning into that idea is a recipe for success. Facing her fears allowed her to live the life she was destined for. Her book, The Reinvention Mindset takes the reader on a journey of overcoming roadblocks to discovering a life full of joy.


Lori also owns Schooley Mitchell of Houston where she helps businesses reduce their expenses and increase their ROI without additional sales, or costs. Before stepping out as an entrepreneur, she worked in the fuels and petrochemical industry for thirty plus years. Lori serves on the Board of The Hall Group, and the non-profit, TENEF and is a former president of Women’s Energy Network.


Lori received a BS in Chemical Engineering from the UPenn, an MS in Environmental Engineering from CalTech and a PhD in ChE from University of Delaware.


Lori resides in Humble, TX where she is active in her community. She is married to Frank, has a son Hunter, dog Roxie and a bearded dragon, JoJo. She loves sports, travel adventure and outdoor activities.
